Sweet Pineapple Friend

Today's card was made using sketch #294 from Freshly Made Sketches and was kept clean and simple, yet bright and tropical with a good bit of glittery bling!

I started out with an A7 green top folded card base and trimmed some yellow paterned paper from Stampin' Up! The pineapple set is retired from TAC, the "You Are Awesome" inside sentiment is from the Richard Garay Signature line and the smaller sentiment I later stamped on the pineapple is from SU!

I stamped the pineapple using dye inks three times...twice on the main panel and once on a scrap that I then fussy cut out. Next, I stamped the "My Sweet Friend" sentiment on the fussy cut pineapple piece in black ink across the bottom.

Using Liquid Glass, I fully coated the fussy cut pineapple, covered it in fine crystal glitter and adhered it to the card front using foam mounting squares for dimension when the glaze was dry.

I layered a gorgeous gold washi tape from the Target Dollar Spot before adding the white pineapple panel with my ATG glue gun flat to the card front.

Cards with no hand coloring involved are always super fast to complete!

Keeping it simple on the inside, I glued down the thin patterned paper strip that was left over and stamped the sentiment in black ink. This is now ready to have on hand for when a friend needs a cute "pick-me-up"!

Until next time,
