Poinsettia JOY

Today's design team project for the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge was a fun one to make and I enjoyed finally doing a Christmas Eclipse Card.

After stamping and then coloring the image with colored pencils, I used an alphabet die set from Spellbinders and popped up the letters with some skinny foam strips from Stampin' Up!

Subtle, but sophisticated with the white on white horizontal striped embossed background...at least I happen to think so, lol.

Until next time~

  3. What a great eclipse card Kathy - it reminds me of those visual illusions where the eye doesn't see it at first and then keeps swapping to and fro! Your elegant red bow is a perfect finishing touch.

  7. Lovely card! I’m sure these eclipse cards used to be called something else, when I made one a few years ago!

  8. I didn't know what eclipse card meant until I saw the close up, Kathy. The sentiment is hidden in the holly leaves that are beautifully colored.
