My Heart BEETS for you!

Today's design team project is for this week's sketch @ Atlantic Hearts. This was a fun layout to do with all the layers and I utilized several die cuts also.

The digital image was colored with water color pencils. Details were added with white gel pen and clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white on black cardstock and adhered with mini foam dots to pop it up off the card front.

Until next time~

Sorry For Your Loss

Today's design team project with Craftin' Desert Divas is my second for the April moodboard, but this time I used the egg shapes as my inspiration instead of the pastel colors. I also used the sketch challenge from Your Next Stamp and between the two of them, I came up with this cute pet sympathy card.

The Pet Shop images are from a CDD digital set and the sympathy sentiment is from a CDD clear stamp set. I did the coloring using my Chameleon Colored pencils and my Scan N Cut fussy cut all the images for me. Each one is also accented using clear Wink of Stella pen, but sadly the camera didn't really pick up on all that shine and shimmer.

The paw prints are dry embossed using an embossing folder and I then highlighted the raised surface by both sanding and brushing over the top with white ink. I then cut the 3 ovals out using my Creative Memories shape cutter tool and adhered the light blue patterned paper underneath. This card is a 5 x 7 base.

Until next time~

Just A Walkin' the Dog...

Today's design team project is with Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps. I will also be entering her @ Tic Tac Toe Card Challenge  for #044 (using the far right vertical row...add dimension -ink -patterned paper),
@ Dragonfly Dreams for "Pink", @ Di's Digi Challenge for "Add An Animal", @ Simply Create Too for "Use Die Cuts" and @ Double "D" Challenges for @ "Friendship".

The focal image is this cute little Dog Walker and I colored her up using Spectrum Noir markers with some colored pencil highlights.

I used several die cuts...both from cardstock and chipboard. The chipboard pieces I inked up directly with ink pads and mounted with skinny foam tape.

Until next time~

Pet Shop Planner

Today's project is my weekly planner spread with Craftin' Desert Divas.

To complete this adorable layout, I used two digital stamp sets...the Planner Basic Bundle and Pet Shop.

I used patterned paper from my stash and colored all the images with colored pencils.

I printed my digis on sticker paper, colored the "To Do" and "Weekend" stickers using markers and then cut them out using my Scan N Cut.

That's it for me today...until next time~

I Love You S'more!

Today's design project with Atlantic Hearts uses their newest sketch and stamps from 3 different sources.

The background was repeatedly stamped using the Love script stamp from a past Paper Pumpkin kit in brown Memento ink. The pink swirl was repeatedly stamped on kraft cardstock using Distress Oxide ink.

I didn't use any diecuts on this card -some fancy scissors, a notched corner punch and a paper piercer were used instead.

The S'mores image and sentiment are a digital stamp and I colored it up using Chameleon colored pencils.

That's it for me today...until next time~

Floral Fairy

Today's design team project with Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps uses this super cute Floral Fairy stamp. (click on the link to find her in the Etsy Shop) I will also be entering it @ a2zScrapbooking for "Flower Power", @ Make My Monday for "Things with Wings", @ The Cutie Pic Challenge for "Delightful Digis", @ My Creative Scoop for "Color Inspiration Link-up" and @ Creatalicious for "Anything Goes/Friend/Friendship".

I colored her up using my Chameleon colored pencils and then cut her out using my Scan N Cut machine.

The inside was done using stamps from Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin kits and Bermuda Bay ink.

I used pattern paper from my stash to cover the A2 white card front and die cut the frame from Bermuda Bay cardstock. The clouds were dry embossed using an embossing folder that I had first inked up with light blue ink before sending it through to be embossed.

Quick and easy, yet this card has a nice visual impact -I just love the way it turned out!
Until next time ~

Spring Chick

Today's card is my first design team project using the April Moodboard over at the Craftin' Desert Divas FB Gallery

I used the Cute Chick digital stamp and colored her in with colored pencils. I die cut the patterned paper using the Crazy Stitched Frames -using all 3 sizes and adhered the middle one using foam dots.

Inside sentiment comes from the Simply Said stamp set.

The sentiment on the hand trimmed banner is from the Birthday Sentiments digital stamp set. The sequins came from the Shimmer sequins pack and I sprayed the patterned paper with a Shimmer Spray. It's really very pretty in person!

This card went out in the mail to one of my nieces this week -hope she likes it!
Until next time~

Holly Jolly Christmas

Today's design team project for the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge follows along with the "Jolly" theme this month.

Using patterned paper and watercolor paper, I pieced the front of the 6 x 6 card quilt style.

The main stamp set was one I got from The Angel Company many years ago. but the sentiment on the front came from an Amuse Studio set.

I diecut the water color panel, used my stamp positioning tool to get a good, dark, crisply stamped image then colored using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush.

Until next time~
