Christmas Coffee Card How -To Using the Best Glue Ever

Today's design team post with ScraPerfect is my 5th and last entry for the Winter Coffee Lover's Bloghop that ends today, but I will also be entering it @ the House That Stamps Built: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge using the the Middle/Vertical row of "Christmas/Red & Green/Glitter", @ Sunny Day Crafting for "X is for Xmas" and @ ABC Christmas for "Y for Yummy". 

I started out this project cutting a top folding horizontal A2 card base from red cardstock and then trimming red and green cardstocks along with the holiday sentiment and wood grained patterned papers to fill my card front.

I then colored my Verve coffee to-go cup digi stamps using Spectrum Noir markers and accenting them with clear Wink of Stella pen before fussy cutting them out. (This is where the glitter part of the game grid comes in, but the camera just didn't capture the sparkle well at all in the pics)

 I then assembled the entire card with the help of ScraPefect's  Best Glue Ever and the No Clog Writing Cap.

I had die cut the sentiment for the inside of the card and free hand cut the one for the front. I then sponged around all the edges using Real Red ink from Stampin' Up! Foam Tape worked perfectly to pop up the wavy Happy Holidays.

Simple and sweet on the inside...

Wrapping the front focal panel with the gold threaded twine set off the wood grained cardstock and emphasizes the horizontal lines of the card, drawing the eye in to the cups.

Don't forget that adding the No Clog Writing Cap to the Best Glue Ever makes it perfect for using on both flat paper projects and anything 3D that you can imagine...and that is why I really do love and recommend this glue! Until next time, happy crafting with ScraPerfect~

Winter Wishes using Coffee Break Marci

Today's card is my 4th entry for the Winter Coffee Lover's Bloghop...and I even have one more yet for you tomorrow too! I will also be entering it @ Cuttlebug Mania for "It's Christmas Time", @ The Crafty Addicts for "Anything Goes with an option of Non-traditional Christmas colors" and @ Mod Squad for "Non-Traditional Christmas Colors".

I colored Marci (digi stamp from LaLaLand Crafts) once again using my new Chameleon colored pencils...gosh, can I just say that I am in love with these pencils?!? I mean really IN LOVE... they make me look pretty darn good at coloring, lol! (and they are such a pleasure to work with!!!)

The sentiments are from the Verve Stamps digi shop and I enhanced them with a tiny bit of my favorite Stardust Gelly Roll Pen.

The frame die cuts are from my new favorite set of Crazy Stitched Frame Dies from Craftin' Desert Diva's and the largest is cut from this pretty patterned paper I got in a holiday pad from ACMoore. The tree background die was one of a set of 3 that was the freebie from one of my favorite British crafting magazines and was cut from white glitter paper that I got at JoAnn Fabrics.

Winter Hugs & Happy National Cocoa Day

Today's card is my 3rd entry for the Winter Coffee Lover's Bloghop using the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday with their "Wintertime" theme and will also be entered @ Crafty Sentiments for "Snowflakes" and @ The Male Room for "Winter Wishes".

This adorable cocoa drinking polarbear is a digi stamp from Craftin' Desert Divas and I colored him up once again with my new colored pencils (**Thank you, Mom!!!) I also used Glossy Accents on his nose for some dimension -it's it just so cute?!?

Inside, I used paper scraps and a retired stamp from TAC.

I diecut the bear out and mounted him on silver metallic paper. The blue patterns are from Basic Gray and the ribbon from my stash. Sentiment stamp is retired from TAC, as is the blue dye ink I used for the stamping.
